Rick Falkvinge nominerad till världens 100 mäktigaste

Tidskriften TIME Magazine utser varje år världens 100 mest inflytelserika personer. Rick Falkvinge, grundaren av det svenska och första Piratpartiet, är i år nominerad som en av de 200 finalisterna till den globala makthavarlistan.

- Det är förstås otroligt hedrande att bli nominerad och redan att vara en av de 200, säger Rick Falkvinge, Piratpartiets grundare. Men man måste komma ihåg att jag står där som symbol för en stor rörelse som slåss för nästa generations rättigheter, snarare än som individ.

Två svenskar har klarat nålsögat till de 200 mäktigaste i världen: Rick Falkvinge och Spotifys grundare Daniel Ek. Nu pågår en omröstning online om vilka som ska utses till den slutliga listan om 100 personer.

- Jag är väldigt glad både för piratrörelsens och Rick Falkvinges skull, säger Anna Troberg, partiledare för Piratpartiet. Det är roligt att TIME uppmärksammar vårt hårda arbete.
